You care about what goes into your body. But even in the health food aisle, the line between helpful and harmful is blurry.

Gluten-free, but packed with sugar.
Plant-based, but ultra-processed.
Low-fat, but stripped of nutrients.

Unfortunately, “healthy” doesn’t always mean much these days. But at Nourished, it still means something to us.

Integrity is our main ingredient.

Grown with purpose.

We start with real food from ethical farmers—organic produce, pastured proteins, and wild-caught fish grown and raised with intention. Each ingredient is chosen to support healing, not hype.

prepared-with-patience

Prepared with patience.

From soaking and sprouting grains and beans to slow-simmering bone broth, we use traditional methods that unlock nutrition. These time-honored steps take longer, but they’re what give our food its healing power.

perfected with pride

Perfected with pride.

Every recipe is nutritionist-designed and chef-prepared, then refined until it hits the balance your body needs—protein high, sugar low, flavor full. Nothing leaves our kitchen until we’re proud enough to put our name on it.

Here are a few examples of what real food means to us.

Our Market menu is built around these core ingredients, chosen for their healing power.

A transparent jar filled with dark yellow Chicken Bone Broth.

100% Pastured Chicken Bone Broth

We start with pasture-raised chicken bones from Midwest family farms committed to regenerative practices—never hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, or GMOs. Slow-simmered with mineral-rich kombu, this collagen-rich, gut-healing broth is low in sodium, alkalizing, and provides 50% of your daily iodine for thyroid and metabolism support. Made from scratch in small stovetop batches, our broths are used for hot infusions to sip, or frozen right away to keep nutrients intact for easy enjoyment at home.

100% Pastured Chicken

Our organic, pasture-raised chicken is raised on regenerative, Midwest family farms—always without hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, or GMOs. Compared to conventional chicken, it has about 20% less fat, 50% more vitamin A, and significantly higher omega-3s, making it a leaner, more nourishing choice.

Soaked & Sprouted Grains & Beans

When grains, beans, and lentils aren’t prepared properly, they can be tough to digest and even contribute to inflammation. That’s why we soak and sprout them for 3–4 days before cooking—breaking down phytic acid and other anti-nutrients, and boosting absorption of amino acids, zinc, iron, and calcium.

GABA Brown Rice

GABA rice is sprouted brown rice, naturally higher in gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a calming neurotransmitter that supports focus and relaxation. Sprouting makes nutrients easier to absorb and, compared to white rice, it offers: 120% more fiber, 614% more magnesium, 964% more vitamin E, and 475% more antioxidants. This makes it a powerhouse base in our soups, salads, and bowls.

Four bowls containing raw nuts: one with hazelnuts, one with cashews, one with almonds, and one with pistachios.

Raw Nuts & Seeds

Nuts and seeds are packed with healthy fats, plant protein, fiber, and antioxidants—but only when they’re kept raw and clean. That’s why we source only certified organic varieties from trusted farms (never from China, and never treated with pesticides or chemicals). In their raw form, they preserve their natural nutrients without the rancid oils, excess sodium, or inflammatory omega-6s often found in roasted versions. When we do toast them, it’s always minimal and often paired with our antioxidant-rich spice blends for an extra health boost.

A large wooden spoon filled with dried cranberries.

Sun-Dried Unsulphured Fruit

Most dried fruit on store shelves is treated with sulfur dioxide to preserve color or even irradiated to extend shelf life. Those shortcuts can strip away nutrients and leave behind unnecessary chemicals. Ours is naturally sun-dried and unsulphured, so you get clean fruit that’s rich in antioxidants, full of flavor, and completely free from preservatives or artificial treatments.

A glass of nut milk with a wooden bowl of almonds placed beside it.

Homemade Nut Milk

Most store-bought nut milks are loaded with gums, fillers, oils, preservatives, or added sugars. Ours are made in-house with just two ingredients: organic almonds or organic coconut and filtered water. That’s it. Almonds provide alkalinity, omega-3s, calcium, and potassium, while coconut delivers fiber, MCTs, and antioxidants that support blood sugar balance and immunity.

Several spoons, each containing different colorful boosting spices.

Antioxidant Spice Blends

Our custom herb and spice blends do more than add flavor—they support metabolism and help your body digest food more easily by balancing heating and cooling effects. Even in small amounts, they deliver big benefits: just one teaspoon of any of our blends provides nearly 40% of your daily antioxidants to help fight free radicals and protect your cells.

A bowl filled with fresh sprouts.

Fresh Sprouts

Soaked and sprouted organic seeds develop into one of the most nutrient-dense foods you can eat. Rich in alkalizing minerals, essential fatty acids, and antioxidants, sprouts also provide up to 100 times more enzymes than raw fruits and vegetables—helping fight free radicals, improve digestion and absorption, and support cellular regeneration.

A wooden bowl filled with sea salt, with a wooden spoon full of salt resting inside.

Unrefined Sea Salt

Not all salt is created equal. We use only unrefined Celtic Sea Salt with no bleach or chemical additives. Unlike processed table salt, this natural salt retains more than 80 trace minerals, supporting balance, hydration, and overall health.

Avocado & Coconut Oil

For cooking, we use only avocado oil and expeller pressed coconut oil. Their higher smoke points mean they resist breaking down and oxidizing—the process that can damage cells and drive inflammation. Coconut oil is a nutrient-dense superfood, packed with MCTs, including lauric acid, healthy fats, and antioxidants that support brain, thyroid, and immune health. Avocado oil is loaded with phytonutrients and antioxidants that fight free radicals, protect your cells, and promote heart health.

Wild-Caught Fish

Our Alaskan sockeye salmon and Pacific cod are sustainably harvested by a fisherman-owned company, then flash-frozen and vacuum-sealed for freshness. Unlike farmed fish that is fed questionable feed, our wild fish is raised in nature and getting the proper nutrients Mother Nature intended. They’re free from dyes, PCBs, and other chemicals—just clean, nutrient-dense protein from the sea. Enjoy our seasoned and roasted cod and salmon for family dinners (think fish tacos!), or stock up on frozen fish to have conveniently in your freezer!

A jar filled with honey, with a wooden honey dipper resting on its rim, and a few pieces of honeycomb placed beside it.

Natural Sugars

Too much added sugar can fuel inflammation, but the right natural sources can actually support wellness. We use only nutrient-rich options like unrefined local raw honey, 100% pure maple syrup for its trace minerals (including manganese, zinc, and iron), and minimally processed coconut sugar for its minerals and lower glycemic impact. We also use raw MF-Manuka Honey from New Zealand, valued for its antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties—found in some of our cold & flu favorites.

A wooden bowl filled with adaptogen powder, accompanied by some green nuts and berries placed beside it.

Adaptogens

Adaptogens are powerful herbs, roots, and mushrooms that help your body adapt to stress and restore balance. Long used in ayurvedic medicine, they build resilience, support vitality, and help stabilize mood and focus. You’ll find reishi, holy basil, maca, astragalus, and ashwagandha in many of our Kitchen Market staples—from broths and soups to smoothies and chocolate barks.

A glass of pink protein shake, next to some bananas, strawberries, and a scoop of protein powder.

Grass-Fed Collagen

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body—providing much-needed structure, strength, and support. Our superfood smoothies include collagen peptides sourced from pastured, grass-fed cattle. Highly bioavailable, they’re digested and absorbed quickly to support healthy skin, hair, nails, bones, and joints—giving your body what it needs and can actually use.

A bowl containing grass-fed gelatin.

Grass-Fed Gelatin

The base of our popular GEL-LO Cups, this gut-healing protein comes from pastured, grass-fed cattle. It’s clean and simple—made without gluten, fillers, or artificial flavors and colors.

Two transparent glass bottles sealed with aluminum caps, each containing water with lemon slices and mint leaves.

Beyond Filtered Water

Our retail market and food production kitchen have house-wide, professional water filtration systems that remove chlorine, contaminants, and sediments for healthier, great-tasting water. These systems are further enhanced with UV filters that sterilize 99.99% of bacteria and viruses for added protection. Clean and pure don’t fall short in anything we do!

Combine ingredients this good, and you get nourishing favorites like these.

None of us would pour dirty fuel into our cars and expect them to run well. Yet, so many of us do that very thing to our bodies—we fill them with food that’s fast, cheap, or empty and wonder why we feel sluggish.

Every bite makes us feel better or worse.

Our mission at Nourished is to make it more realistic for you to give your body truly clean, purposeful foods. When you do, you give it the chance to heal, thrive, and show up fully for the life you want to live.
